BPB were implementing a new ERP system (JDE/PeopleSoft/Oracle EnterpriseOne) on iSeries and were in need of some in-depth technical iSeries knowledge to improve performance and throughput of the application. MidServe were contracted in to liaise between the Operations team, the Application developers, IBM and Oracle to identify and resolve these performance issues. MidServe tackled this with confidence and demonstrated an extensive knowledge of iSeries, IBM (in the form of contacts and the way IBM works), DB2 and the peculiarities of running an ERP system. At the end of the exercise the speed of application had improved considerably largely due to the contribution of MidServe.
